We provided design and planning support for a large-scale rooftop photovoltaic scheme at Burnley College, for our client Shawton Energy.

The college was seeking ways to reduce operational costs due to rising energy prices. Rooftop PV was proposed by Shawton Energy as it offers significant benefits, including lower electricity bills through self-generated power and decreased dependence on the grid. The scheme also promotes environmental sustainability by reducing carbon footprints and harnessing clean, renewable energy.

This scheme has been fully implemented and now delivers both energy and cost savings for the college. The project forms part of our increasing portfolio of work in the energy and net zero sector.
