A 91-bed student accommodation scheme

A new mixed-use development, including student accommodation and retail, within Ormskirk Town Centre Conservation Area.

The student accommodation features 91 bedrooms set in apartment clusters with communal lounges and kitchens. The scheme also includes shared study spaces and a gym to provide the residents with modern amenities. The ground floor and lower ground floor are dedicated to retail to ensure an active frontage on the high street and to provide economic benefits to the town.

Scale and materiality were carefully considered to ensure the development sits well within the market town high street. Full planning approval was granted, with Pye Design providing all design services and planning consultancy.
